The God of Good Harvest!
The researcher conducted this study to help farmers by providing real-time information about soil moisture levels and plant water requirements, and farmers will be informed and make
decisions about when and how much to water their crops. This can lead to more efficient water usage, reduced water wastage, and improved crop yields. There are several technologies available for monitoring soil moisture and plant water needs. One common approach is the use of soil moisture sensors placed at various locations in the field. These sensors measure the moisture content in the soil and provide data that can be analyzed to determine if irrigation is required.
The system was developed so that real-time data are automatically obtained, stored, and viewed on a periodic basis or spontaneously for the purpose of monitoring the field condition.
To put this concept into reality, below shows the proposed architectural framework of the system, from data gathering through the different sensors up to the viewing of the periodic information using a web application and mobile app.
